Accommodation

The MacDougall Clansman Hotel has been privately owned and run by the MacDougall family since it was established in 1959.

Over the years we have tried our best to provide comfortable and affordable central accommodation for Inverness in a traditional Highland style, while trying also to achieve a feeling of calm in the midst of the bustle of city life.

All of our fourteen bedrooms are non-smoking and each room has en-suite facilities, colour television, tea and coffee making facilities, individually controlled central heating and double glazing.

Wireless broadband internet access is included in all room rates and is available on request. We offer the choice of single, double and twin bedded rooms, along with family rooms to sleep up to four. Extra beds, cots and high chairs are available if required."

A cooked Scottish breakfast is included in all room rates and a continental breakfast can be provided on request for guests who have to leave us early in the morning.

The hotel has never had a public bar but since the early 1980ís we have held a purely residential licence, which we feel contributes to a quieter, more homely atmosphere.
